Purchased digital music
- Downloaded or accessed digital music is normally not refundable merely because a customer changes their mind.
- If an MP3 file supplied by BuyMusic is corrupted or cannot be played using suitable MP3 software, contact us with the order reference and a description of the problem.
- BuyMusic will investigate the file and purchase record. Where appropriate, we may repair or replace the download, restore access, or approve a refund.
- An approved refund is returned through the original payment method where possible. The time before it appears may depend on the payment provider or card issuer.
Streaming plans and cancellation
- A once-off streaming plan does not renew automatically.
- A recurring streaming plan may be cancelled from the signed-in Profile area. Cancellation prevents future renewal while access remains subject to the plan's active period and the confirmation shown to the customer.
- A streaming payment may be refund-eligible when the request is made within 7 days of signup and no full-track streams have been used. For monthly or yearly plans, the request must also be made during the signup month.
- Refund eligibility is verified against BuyMusic's account, streaming and payment records before a refund is approved.
Tickets, artist services and other orders
Please contact BuyMusic promptly with the order reference. The outcome depends on the product or service, whether it has already been supplied or used, the event or organiser's applicable terms, and the customer's rights under South African law.
How to request help or a refund review
- Email sales@buymusic.co.za or telephone 082-467-4210.
- Provide the account email address, order or payment reference, the item or plan concerned, and a short explanation.
- For a faulty music file, describe the device or MP3 software used and the error encountered.
- Do not send card numbers, PINs or security codes.
